Mieres del Camín celebrates this party with apple juice every day.
THE CIDER.- One more year Plaza Requexu will host a new edition of Samai, the celebration of health and solidarity that comes full of activities for children and grown ups such as games, music, costumes and gastronomy. As it could not be otherwise cider will have a special role: every day there will be apple juice at the stands of the associations.
Unde the slogan “It’s not Halloween, it’s Samain” they try to retake this celtic festivity og the harvest season and darkness. A party put together with traditions that begun on 2013 trhough an initiative by the restauranteurs of Requexu supported by the council oh health of this council.
The activities will begin on 28th October to finish on 1st November. Apart of the cider there will be storytellers, pumpkin decorations, cider bar songs, kitchen workshops, shadow theater, parade of dogs in costume, costume contest, disco music, candies, games and Miss Pumkpin awards.
