Then there was one of the most awaited events of the day: the presentation of “Cider Bars from Asturies, Natural Quality”.. There were the intervention of the general director of Commerce and Tourism Julio González Zapico and the president of OTEA José Álvarez Almeida. After that David Fernández-Prada offered a public speech about this quality label and the features the establishments need to have to fit in this category. Likewise he explained several aspects about how to drink Cider of Asturies and made sample about cider pouring with the participation of the attendees.

González Zapico explained to this media his intention to attend this hall in order to encourage the entrepreneurs and producers. “What we aim is to people to get back to their roots, their essence, the natural, to Asturies! This is why the slogan is “Return to the Paradise, come to Asturies”.

An hour and a half after that there was the tasting of Xaldu Lamb Astursabor. Regarding the awards, the magazine Gourmet’s Club awarded Coalla Gourmet as best gastronomic shop in the main hall.
