LA SIDRA.- The Ministry of Rural Development and Natural Resources will carry out an advertising campaign until the end of December under the slogan: “At Christmas, the best is at home, Asturias, quality at the table”, aimed at promoting consumption, during these Christmas holidays, of the best food produced and elaborated in this land and included in the quality mark Food of natural paradise
The counselor María Jesús Álvarez presented this afternoon the campaign in Uviéu, at an event held at Hotel de la Reconquista, where she said that the promotion of products under the brand incorporates productions covered by seals of differentiated territorial quality, such as Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indications (PGI). “It is the flagship of the agricultural and agri-food productions of Asturias, the most emblematic foods linked to our land and its tradition and our culture”, he underlined.
The campaign, with a cost of 60,000 euros, includes the insertion of advertising in the country’s media, specialized magazines, social networks, and various merchandising material. Álvarez has encouraged Asturian consumers to enjoy during the festivities the most emblematic productions, “those that make up the Asturian cuisine, eleven unique, unique and excellent products”. They are the Asturian Faba, Asturian Ternera, Chosco de Tineo, Cangas Wine, Cider of Asturias, the Afuegal’pitu, Gamonéu, Cabrales, Casín and de Beyos cheeses and the organic production.
