Riestra Cider Mill has just presented its cider “Selection Extra” called Ribayu, a cider made with Asturian and especially selected apple.

THE CIDER.- In the last times there has been the phenomenon of some cider mills releasing their own selection brands, ensuring with their name and tradition both the quality of the product and the Asturian origin of the apples used… without thinking necessary to get inside the DOP “Cider of Asturies” of private brand, known as Sidre d’Escoyeta.

Thus cider mills like JR released the cider “black label” and now Riestra does the same with Ribayu, stated as “Selection Extra”, being nowadays two cider mills in this tendence besides the knowledge of some others in the process of doing the very same.
