Time for “espichas”

The group Espichados organizes their rock-based XV Creative Convivial Meal.

LA SIDRA.- It is time for “espichas” (convivial meals where people drink cider), time to taste the first cider of the year. This way, all kind of events related to our quintessential drink start to be organized.

The group Espichados arranges different theme-based convivial meals in which, apart from eating and drinking, several cultural activities are offered, such as contests, games or the possibility of attending the event in disguise, so that cider lovers interact and enjoy to the fullest.

This year, the XV Creative Convivial Meal will be celebrated, with the possibility of choosing a vegetarian menu, in Cabueñes Cidermill, and rock will be the chosen theme. The leading themes in previous years were cartoons, horror films, Hollywood, the Medieval age or the 80’s, held with the contribution of different cidermills in town.

The same day, 17th March, the Best First Cider of the Year Contest will take place at La Montera Picona cider bar. And 12 days after, the Festival with the same name will start, from 29th March to 1st April, with the celebration of Sidracrucis (Good Friday Cider Parade) on 30th March.
