The Route of the Cider of Xixón is updated

Xixón Turismo presented the new proposal that involves the visit to six cider mills, the transport and the special menu in 15 cider bars distinguished with the Tourist Quality Commitment and / or with the Sidrerías de Asturies brand.

LA SIDRA.- The Councilor for Tourism, Sports, Celebrations and Youth, Jesus Martinez Salvador, presented yesterday at the Sidrería La Cuadra de Antón restaurant the update of the gastronomic tourism products that allow to enjoy the best flavor of the Asturian city: Xixón Gourmet and Xixón Cider Route.

Xixón presumes to be the main cider spot in the world. As a novelty, the Ruta de la Sidra Xixón offers special cider bar menus in 15 places of the city distinguished with the Commitment of Tourist Quality and / or with the brand Sidrerías de Asturias and that serve the cider in optimal conditions and poured as much in the table as in bar. It also includes the possibility of visiting six places of the municipality to know the whole process of preparing cider, in this new edition, special rates of taxi cooperatives of Xixón with the Tourism Quality Commitment seal to facilitate transportation to the cider mills.

The cider bars that participate in the Route of the Cider of Xixón are: Marisquería Poniente, Sidrería Cabañaquinta, Sidrería La Cuadra de Antón, Parrilla Muñó Poniente, Casa Trabanco, Parrilla Ramón, Sidrería La Tonada de la Guía, Sidrería La Fueya de Tomás, Sidrería El Saúco, Parrilla Muñó Feijoo, Sidrería El Restallu, Sidrería El Requexu, Sidrería La Montera Picón de Ramón, Sidrería Tierra Astur Poniente, Sidrería Marisquería El Llavianu. Los llagares que pueden visitar son Llagar Trabanco, Llagar Sidra Acebal, Llagar Sidra Menéndez, Llagar Bernueces, Sidra Piñera and Llagar Castañón.

The Xixón Gourmet menu was also presented, which allows you to discover the best restaurants in the city. The seven restaurants that have a seal of quality: Michelin Star, Sol Repsol, Q Tourist Quality or Mesas de Asturias. The restaurants are Auga, Bellavista, Casa Gerardo, Ciudadela, La Salgar and Zascandil. The menu includes two original starters, two selected dishes, a different dessert and selected special wine and has a closed seal of 45 euros per guest. The three restaurants awarded with Michelin star of Xixón offer this test menu for € 50. For the reservation it is necessary to say that it is a Gourmet Xixón menu and the number of diners (promotion not valid for tables over 8 people).
