The IES Valle d’Aller in Madrid Fusion

The student Pablo García Llorente has won the contest “Choose your sous-chef”.

THE CIDER.- The student of the School of Hospitality of the IES Valle de Aller, Pablo Llorente, participated today Tuesday in the contest “Choose your sous-chef” in Madrid Fusión. The contest, organized by Makro, was held at the IFEMA site, within the activities of the international gastronomic summit.

The previous phase of the contest was that several students prepared a recipe associated with one of the following four chefs: Jesús Segura, from the Trivio-Cuenca Restaurant; Oscar García of the Baluarte-Soria Restaurant; Pablo González Conejero, of the Restaurant Cabaña Buenavista-Murcia and Cristina Figueira, of the Restaurant El Xato- Alicante. Afterwards, a jury chose a student as chef, to participate with him as an assistant.

In the case of the IES Vallde Aller, Pablo chose the chef Óscar García, and, as he was selected, both participate in the final with a plate of clear Soriana inspiration, which was the one that gave them the victory. The two have previously worked at Oscar García’s restaurant to clarify certain aspects of the dish.
