Los Collacios, a cider bar located in the district of Nuevo Xixón, has bet, since the beginning of the year, for the JR cider to offer its customers a different variety, with a very natural and smooth flavor, which makes it different with other ciders and customers that “when they try it, they want to repeat”, explains Ignacio Alonso, one of the restaurant’s employees.
THE CIDER. – In this cider bar from Xixón, opened two and a half years ago, the cider has a leading role, since it is given a special care and is spread throughout the premises, including the dining room and the terrace. In addition, its union with JR does nothing more than reaffirm that idea.
Los Collacios, which does not close any day for rest, has achieved, by its own merits, a spectacular family atmosphere, “we have a very loyal clientele and many families with children, which is very good for the business,” says Alonso. In Los Collacios, fish, such as rubiel, turbot or sea bass, are one of the main dishes, and you can taste them both in the oven and grilled.
Another great option is to try their mixed “Los Collacios” barbecue, with sea bass, scallops, prawns, creole chorizo, churrasco and baked potatoes. Rice with Cantabric lobster, on request; their squids; cachopo of Iberian ham and Manchego cheese or its fresh calamari are also the delight of diners.
