La Solana, cidrery from Mieres

In the year 84 Gabino Lorenzo who was working at that time in a mining hut, decides to set up an inn with his mother at the head of the kitchen. Given his passion for cider, after about 10 years he decides to change it in cider bar, or what he calls “sidreteca”, since he currently offers cider Canal, Fonciello, Cortina, Peñón d’Escoyeta, Villacubera, Cortina Ecological Cider, Brut de Poma Aurea, Ice Cider Cortina or Zythos of new expression.

Along with this great cider variety it presents an elaborate home-cooked cuisine with succulent mixed tables of sausages, meat and fish. They emphasize their entrecots and steaks, the great variety of chachopos, the spider crabs in season, the fresh calamari, the homemade tripes and an exquisite bacon, also counting on a great variety of tapas. The desserts, homemade, and among them the Afuega’l pitu cheese cake is striking.

Of course, the cider served at the correct temperature and in a timely manner.
