El Ferroviario organizes a “tasting of the land in small bites”

The cider bar organizes a tasting with products from Cárnicas Las Ubiñas, Embutidos Casa Milia and Quesería Ovín

LA SIDRA.- Next Tuesday, January 22, people will be able to taste food from the Asturian mountains in “small bites” at the Chigre-Espicheru El Ferroviario. The products chosen for the occasion are carpaccio of beef, beef jerky, pig hands, various sausages and artisan cheeses. Small Asturian producers will explain their work, methods of production and the benefits of the products that Asturias offers us.

According to the organizers, the intention is “to break down and get to know” some of the developers of the country that are doing the best, with, say, effort and determination. “We want them to tell us their story, so you can taste some of their products” they invite.

In the tasting will be present Diego Aladro de Asturgües, Javier García and Aitor Fernández de Cárnicas Las Ubiñas; Manuel Alonso of Embutidos Casa Milia and by Queresía Ovín will be present Isaura Souza.

The tasting is free, you just have to follow one of the GastroOviedo networks (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) and request a place by sending an email indicating your contact information to hola@gastroviedo.es. The Chigre-Espicheru Railway with this tasting wants to value the quality of the products produced in the region, the work, the dedication and the commitment of the small producers that draw the Asturian agri-food map. All participants are regular suppliers of the establishment.
