Among the novelties of the XL Nava’s Cider Festival, there will be a cider train to go to five cider mills from Nava.
LA SIDRA.- Nava’s XL Cider Festival is held from 4th to 11th of July and the schedule inlcudes some novelties so it keeps up to date. Among the new things there will be a free train departing on Sunday 11th fro the Cider Museum to visit five cider mills to taste cider. Apart of it and for the first time there will be a showcooking by Ramón Celorio, Grupu Nature gastronomic director.
Of course ther will be the usual activities such as the opening speech by the Vuelta España tour’s manager, Jorge Guillén, the Good Confraternity of the Sicerators (from 8 to 2 pm) and the Cider Pourers Contest, now on its 30th edition.
In the festival’s presentation there was a three minute video directed by Luis Canteli, director from Nava, for the Festival’s advertisement in social media, in which claims Nava as the original cider village in history. “The secret of the potion” is the name of the video, unfortunately babbeling in a shamefuly poor Asturian instead of having a proper version in Asturian and then others in English and Spanish.
