The Celtic League of Asturies organizes a comference about Asturian cider by David M. Rivas.
THE CIDER.- Inside the annual schedule of activities of the Celtic League of Asturies, David M. Rivas, head professor of the Autonomous University of Madrid, member of the ALLA and author of the bok “Cider, ritual beverage and symbol” will give a speech about Asturian cider developing several aspects related to ir. The event will be presented by Fernán Morán, President of the Celtic League of Asturies and will take place on next 12th of September at 19:30 hours at the comference room of the Ramón Pérez de Ayala Public Library, in Uviéu.
This is an announcement of special interest not only for its topic but also for being the speaker one of the biggest specialists in the socio-cultural surroundigns of cider ans Asturian cider culture, to which it should be added his ease of speech and skill to empathize with the public by gathering some experiences and contextualizing them into adeeper whole.
