Cider of Selection’s First Tasting

The cider of Selected Apple, quality label of the cider mills Trabanco, Peñón, Foncueva and Muñiz celebrates its first Tasting of the 2015 Harvest.

THE CIDER.- El Forno Cider Mill of La Pola Sieru will be the place on next Monday 18th at 18:30 for the First Tasting, headed by Maximino Villarrica. It will have to assess the cider presented by the four cider mills of this brand to empower its quality label. Only the cider above a B as average score would be able to reach the market with the label “Cider of Selected Apple”.

The cider presented for assessment this Monday is special because it’s the First Cider of the Year, the cider without blending and made over the sediment, a kind of cider that from LA SIDRA magazine we have been promoting to recover with the Best First Cider of the Year Awards. This year the winner was La Morena on the First Cider of the Year, now on its seventh edition.

The cider classified on next Monday will be in the market on the Tuesday 10th of May, chosen date by the cider of Selected Apple to innaugurate the 2015 harvest.
