The weekend of the 7th to 9th of October Villaviciosa ends its very cidery celebrations season with the XXVIII Apple Festival, in which LA SIDRA will not just be present, but will participate actively with a stand and the organization of a apple smashing and Apple Games, for the youngest.
Apart of it, the Festival's schedule contains exhibitions, a little apple market, the X Asturian Apple Orchards Contest and the XXI Contest - Exhibition of Cider and Table Apple, an apple tasting and a tour through an aplle orchard with apple smashing and sweet cider tasting.
There are plenty of cider parties, but specially dedicated to the apple, very few, and in a country so plenty of cider apple, is a really interesting topic.
We also remind that the Apple Festival takes place once every two years, so is a good chance to take if you do not want to wait until 2013.
