During the month of June Cider Pourers contests are going to follow one another and will count towards the Asturies Championship 2011
The first one is scheduled for the 15th in Cangues d'Onís, the second one in Mieres del Camín, in the popular Plaza'l Requesu, the 20th. The contests will continue in Ables, next to the cathedral the 26th and the last of the month will be held the 30th in the "Sidrería Tierra Astur" (Astur Land Cider Bar), of Cualloto
There is also news of some other contest for the months of July and August, but the dates are to be confirmed yet.
Until now only one scoring contest was celebrated, the one of the "Feria de L'Ascensión" (Ascension Fair) that was held the 4th of June and in which the winner was Aly Ernesto Moncayu, a LA SIDRA sporadic collaborator and owner of the "Sidrería La Cata del Milán", and for the moment is the first one in the general classification of the Asturies Pourers Championship 2011.
